Tia Violetta is about to turn 30. She lives in a Seattle mansion, barricaded away with her paranoid father, Hadden, who has shielded her from the world and her true heritage.
What Tia doesn't know is that a sinister AI, known as SIM, has enslavedhumans on Earth. And SIM is hunting her.
Tia and Hadden are descendants of Helio Tropez, a subterranean safe haven where all inhabitants possess powerful abilities. And Tia bears the mark of Pentada, along with four other women in her family that she never knew existed.
Together, Pentada have special powers that can alter the course of humanity forever. Unless they fall into the hands of SIM.
When a young time-traveller arrives at the mansion with a dire warning(her father 50 years younger), Tia is forced to flee from everything she knows— and journey to a world hidden beneath the Earth's surface.
She must embrace powers she never knew she had, navigate the wonders and dangers of Helio Tropez, and return to the surface — alone — to rescue the family SIM has weaponized against humanity.
But SIM is always one step ahead. And when Tia finally brings her family home, something unspeakable follows them through.

From the very first chapter, it had me enthralled. The journey of Hadden and Tia through the different timelines and flashbacks was truly intriguing. I particularly enjoyed the subtle but very clear references to the real situations which are damaging the human race as we know it. I'm looking forward to reading more books from this author. - Christine Azzopardi

I love the way elements of consciousness are woven into Helio Tropez... the gem stones, the animal soul mates, having wings with higher levels of vibration, etc. And the fascinating power struggle between light and dark psychic energies in the world, feels so relatable given the global uprising that is underway today. - Maureen Jack-LaCroix
